As work has shifted to a virtual mode, many people may find themselves dusting off their home desk and office spaces to make room for an adequate WFH environment.

Some days, I decide to treat myself to a little WFB (work from bed). I still get ready, it's not like I only got out of bed to grab my computer. But something about being able to sink back into the pillows while still getting work done is so satisfying.

I love having an all white bedding ensemble, I feel like it just emulates cleanliness and sleekness. I'm obsessed with anything with a marble pattern, so a marble throw pillow is a must have for a nice fun touch.

I'm partnering with The Home Depot for this post, as they've gifted me this beautiful tufted headboard that's totally transformed my space. I've actually been on the lookout for a headboard to tie together my whole bed space, and this one does the job perfectly. I think it has just enough contrast from the all-white bedding but isn't too abrupt.

What I love about the headboard is that it fits right behind my current bed and I didn't have to nail it in. If I wanted to bring it to school for my dorm room, I could as well! If I didn't go to school 2,000+ miles away, I'd definitely be hauling this to campus.

A fun way to decorate and also add some light to your room is a neon sign. This pink one from Home Depot has an inspirational touch with the "Stay Gold" phrase.

On the days that I do decide to sit at my actual desk and do work, I wanted to be comfortable. I got a new desk chair at the beginning of quarantine and it's been a game changer! This grey velvet one has a similar look and feel, and is so much more fun than a plain mesh office chair! A quick and easy way to dress up old furniture is using marble contact paper, which is my favorite hack. This is something I implemented in my college rooms but didn't actually jump the gun until quarantine in my home bedroom. I'm loving the look so far!

This post was made possible through Command(™) Brand, and it has been an absolute honor and dream to work with a brand that I have been using faithfully since my very first day of college!

When I knew I was coming back to campus during the pandemic, I knew that I wanted to make my college apartment this year the best one yet. Not only was it my senior year, but I knew that I would be spending a lot more time at home than in previous years. I wanted to make my space feels welcoming and cozy. It has been proven that personalized spaces lead to better productivity, so I knew that I wanted to make my on-campus apartment look less like a dorm and more like my home.

I was lucky to be blessed with a beautiful view of the Charles River and downtown Boston. The architecture of the building features a column right next to the window that is the perfect spot to put fun decor pieces on display, such as this small gold mirror and macrame hanging. In order to not damage the walls, I know I can always count on Command Products to keep my decorations up all year and come off at the end with no residue or damage!

Command Products make it possible for me to personalize my college apartment, and get the look without sacrificing damage.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought me to a place I didn't envision spending my last college summer–home in Boise, Idaho. I finished my second semester of junior year in my childhood bedroom, in the house I grew up in. I had originally planned for the pandemic to end in time to hold a summer internship back in Boston or in NYC, but obviously that was not the case. With the extra time I had spent at home, I decided to make my space as comfortable and personalized as possible.

I wanted to embrace some of the accents that I had incorporated in my room at school. I love the look of marble and have used contact paper since my freshman year. Since I wasn't going to be home permanently, I didn't want to get a brand new marble top desk. I ended up covering the desk with a roll of beige-colored marble contact paper. I love everything gold, so I got some smaller mirrors to hang as decor and spray painted my originally hot pink full length mirror with gold spray paint to match.

My mom has a large collection of plants, which I propagated from to add some greenery to my windowsill. I paired this with some pampas grass stems to add a modern decor touch. On my walls, I hung some quote wall art with binder clips and even a map of Boston.

I'm partnering with The Home Depot for this post, because they have provided me this beautiful upholstered ivory tufted headboard from Plumridge. The headboard ties together the entire room, and goes perfectly with my all white bedding for an elegant touch. On some days, when working from my bed is just too tempting, I love still having a cute background for Zoom calls.

As school starts back up again and you're looking for pieces, don't forget to check out The Home Depot's selection at homedepot.com/backtoclass.
